Prepare to be enthralled as DC Comics unveils an all-new series that takes Batman to unprecedented levels of darkness and terror. Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham, a gripping DC Black Label series, promises to deliver a chilling and gritty portrayal of the Caped Crusader. Renowned storyteller Rafael Grampá and colorist Mat Lopes join forces to bring us a visually stunning and emotionally charged Batman story.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the upcoming series is the unique perspective it will offer on the Dark Knight. Grampá and Lopes are aiming to present Batman in a way we've never seen before, exploring his internal struggles, vulnerabilities, and the psychological toll his vigilante crusades have taken on him. This series will dive deep into Batman's psyche, revealing layers of complexity and making him more relatable than ever before.

Grampá commented on the approach to developing this story, “When his origin was introduced in Batman #1 in the 1940s, Bruce Wayne swore revenge by the spirits of his murdered parents and—driven by his belief in an omen—became Batman. For me, this subtle aspect of Bruce’s belief system has always been the fundamental core of Batman, and through that lens I recognized this untold story. Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham explores ‘who he is and why he came to be.’ It makes my dream of bringing my own interpretation of Batman to life a reality as I delve into the darkest corners of his essence. I sincerely hope readers enjoy the ride.”
