‘Daredevil/Punisher’ Limited Series Brings Jimmy Palmiotti Back to Marvel Knights

A new five-issue limited series from Jimmy Palmiotti, co-founder of Marvel Knights, is set to bring the heat to comic book shelves this November. Daredevil/Punisher: The Devil's Trigger pits two of Marvel's most complex characters against each other in a battle of ideologies. Artist Tommaso Bianchi will bring the action-packed story to life.

When Punisher unleashes a brutal assault on the Gnucci crime family, Daredevil is forced to intervene, setting off a chain reaction that threatens to tear Hell's Kitchen apart. As four new crime syndicates rise from the ashes, Matt Murdock and Frank Castle find themselves at odds over the true meaning of justice.

“As Daredevil pursues the next wave of criminal empires, Frank’s determined to teach Matt Murdock that permanent justice comes at the barrel of a gun,” he continued. “It’s philosophy vs. firepower as Hell’s Kitchen becomes a battleground not just for turf—but for the soul of justice itself. Writing this has been an absolute thrill—almost criminal in how much fun I’m having. Stepping into Matt’s mind has been both a blast and a real gauntlet; the deeper I go, the clearer it becomes: both men are right, and both are wildly wrong. That tension? That moral knife-edge? It’s the heartbeat of this entire series.”

The series will feature a main cover by Kendrick "Kunkka" Lim, which will also be available as a virgin variant cover. Daredevil/Punisher: The Devil's Trigger #1 hits shelves November 16th and fans can pre-order a copy at their local comic shop today.
