FIRST LOOK: Greg Capullo’s Return to Marvel

In what was a tightly held secret, Marvel revealed that acclaimed artist Greg Capullo will be returning to the publisher after his work at the House of Ideas during the 1990s skyrocketed him to industry stardom. Capullo’s initial return will include special variant covers across a host of titles, but retailers who attended the SDCC exclusive lunch hosted by Diamond Comics got a sneak peak at his first two covers released by Marvel — WOLVERINE #37 & DEADPOOL: SEVEN SLAUGHTERS #1. Capullo’s WOLVERINE#37 cover was previously listed in solicits as a top secret classified variant without an artist attached. The issue hits shelves on September 20th wherever comic books are sold.

DEADPOOL: SEVEN SLAUGHTERS #1 is an oversized one-shot that will release on November 15th. Marvel shared the following on the issue:
