First Look: Star-Spider’s Debut in Edge of Spider-Verse #3

The Spider-Verse will continue to expand in April’s Edge of Spider-Verse #3 written by Justina Ireland and Steve Foxe! The new series doesn’t launch until February, but Marvel is already teasing the debut of Star-Spider, a brand-new Spidey who swings through Earth-1978.

Spider-Star’s story will be written by Ireland and the character’s design is by Pete Woods. Star-Spider’s gets her first cover (see art above) by artist Chad Hardin for Edge of Spider-Verse #3, which hits shelves April 11th. On writing the next chapter of his Spider-Verse creation, Foxe shared, "Getting the opportunity to return to Web-Weaver's world in this new anthology has been such a (web-)blast. When we originally conceived of Cooper Coen and his supporting cast, we knew there were no limits to the stories we could tell with him, especially because each new installment lets us play with all-new versions of familiar Spider-faces!"

Previous installments of EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE saw all-star creators introduce the world to the likes of Spider-Gwen, Spider-Rex, and more.
