Image Comics Announces New Anti-Spy Thriller ‘Yumi: 00EX’
Image Comics announced Yumi: 00EX, a four-issue series from writer Doug Wagner and artist Hoyt Silva. When Yumi's MI6 boyfriend vanishes, she goes straight to the source, hacking the agency's network, taking down their operatives, and burning the whole thing down on her way out. Inside she finds an unlikely partner: a fully AI Lamborghini engineered less like a car and more like a weapon.
"Part The Kingsman, part K-Pop Demon Hunters, all attitude," said Wagner. "We even tossed in an AI Lamborghini sidekick that's built like a WMD, because with Hoyt and I involved, subtlety never really had a chance."
Yumi: 00EX #1 (of 4) is on sale August 12 with covers by Nicoletta Baldari, Silva, Mirka Andolfo, and a blank sketch variant.
