New Echo One-Shot Arrives This November

Marvel Comics will celebrate Native American Heritage Month again this year with a new Marvel’s Voices one-shot featuring the Cheyenne and Mexican American character Echo. Echo: Seeker of Truth #1 will be co-written by Jimmy “Taboo” Gomez and B. Earl and drawn by Jim Terry. David Mack, the character’s co-creator, will provide the main cover and Carmen Carnero and Maria Wolf will provide variants for the issue that hits shelves November 5th.

The special issue will see Echo traveling to Los Angeles on the hunt for her missing cousin. While there, she’ll encounter a cult with deep secrets and unlocks a new ability that changes her course within the Marvel Universe.

“Being able to write our second Echo story feels like a super power or strength,” Taboo shared. “As a proud Native American/ Mexican storyteller, having that platform to co-write about super heroes that resonate within our Marvel Universe, is what I call ‘good medicine’ and much needed to inspire our readers.”
