New Series ‘Spectregraph’ from James Tynion IV & Christian Ward Coming April 2024
In addition to announcing the new series White Boat and The Blood Brothers Mother for next year, DSTLRY also announced Spectregraph, a new series described as a “cerebral horror masterpiece” by James Tynion IV and Christian Ward. The story was first teased in DSTLRY’s The Devil’s Cut earlier this year and its first issue will hit shelves in April 2024.
From the publisher:
SPECTREGRAPH revolves around an isolated mansion nestled into the coastline, a short drive north of Los Angeles. Rumors have haunted the place for years—its owner a titan of American industry, with a strange fascination in the occult and the paranormal. The richest men and women in the country have whispered to each other, trying to understand what he was building alone in that mansion for all those years. And now finally, with his death, and his estate open for sale... they can finally find out for themselves.
“We’ve been cultivating these ideas for years, and we promise a descent into horror like you’ve never seen before—this is a visceral, confrontational take on the haunted house story,” writer & co-creator James Tynion IV explains.
“SPECTREGRAPH is an acid-fueled psychedelic nightmare. I can’t wait for everyone to experience it and find themselves haunted by our ghosts, The likeS of which have never seen before,” artist & co-creator Ward continues.
