SDCC News: A New Merc Will Debut in ‘Deadpool #7’ this October
As previously revealed, Deadpool will meet his demise at the hands of villain Death Grip in Deadpool #6 this September. But the Merc with a Mouth’s legacy will live on. Marvel revealed at SDCC today that his daughter, Ellie Camacho, will take up the mantle as the all-new Deadpool starting in Deadpool #7 when it hits shelves October 2nd!
Writer Cody Ziglar will be joined by guest artist Andrea Di Vito and co-writer Alexis Quasarano for Ellie’s first adventures in her new role. Taskmaster will continue to train Ellie in the mercenary ways, but her true goal is vengeance - and she'll need Princess' help to achieve it.
