Silver Surfer Returns in Upcoming Series from Ron Marz and Ron Lim

The legendary creative team of Ron Marz and Ron Lim are returning to the world of the Silver Surfer in a new series, Silver Surfer: Rebirth per a Marvel press release. The series will launch in September and will follow the Surfer as he takes on a new mission to protect the universe from a powerful new threat.

Marz and Lim are no strangers to Marvel’s comsic universe or the Silver Surfer. They previously worked together on last year’s Silver Surfer Rebirth miniseries. They’ll reunite for this new five-issue miniseries, which will build on stories established in their previous work.

Marz commented on the new series with, "I can't say no to Silver Surfer, and I can't say no to Ron Lim, so here we go again. Playing in Marvel's cosmic playground with Ron was how my career started, and I think I speak for both of us when I say this is right where we want to be. It just fits. This new series gives us a chance to build on the stories we've been telling, and tie them together into a bigger arc with Surfer at the center. We're having a blast, so hopefully readers will too."

I’m excited to see what Marz and Lim do with the Silver Surfer in this continuation story. They are two of the best creators in the business when it comes to the Marvel cosmos, and I know they are going to do the character justice. I can't wait to read the series!
