Marvel announced that Jack Russell, a.k.a. the Werewolf by Night, and Elsa Bloodstone will star in a brand new one-shot just in time for Halloween! WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #1, an oversized issue releasing on September 13th, is written by Derek Landy and has art by Fran Galán. The announcement noted that parts of the issue will be in black & white while others will be in color in a nod to the two main characters very different personas. What can readers expect? The publisher shared the following synopsis:

In the shadows of black-and-white night, Jack Russell races to halt the sacrifice of a young girl at the hands of monsters. Elsa Bloodstone, in all her colorful monster-hunting glory, isn’t far behind. But can they put their differences aside long enough to save the day? And what would such a partnership even look like?

This exciting special issue comes off the success of last year’s Werewolf by Night Special Presentation on Disney+ which featured Gael García Bernal as Jack Russell and Laura Donnelly as Elsa Bloodstone. Check out the main cover art by Corin Howell below and let me know if you’re pumped for this issue!
