Wolverine & Ghost Rider Have Hell to Pay in Marvel’s “Weapons of Vengeance”

Get ready to be blown away once again as two iconic Marvel heroes, Wolverine and Ghost Rider, unite to confront a formidable nemesis from their past in the upcoming “Weapons of Vengeance” crossover event in August. Marvel revealed more backstory and an exclusive first-look at new cover art, including an awesome variant cover by Ryan Stegman.
Wolverine and Ghost Rider are two of Marvel's most popular and iconic characters, and they are a perfect match for this type of story. Wolverine is a powerful and skilled fighter, while Ghost Rider is a powerful and terrifying force of vengeance. Together, they will be a force to be reckoned with.
Just who will be reckoning with them? In the upcoming four-part crossover event, Wolverine and Ghost Rider will come face to face with their toughest villain yet — a powerful demon named Stitcher who they believed to have been defeated in an unseen battle from their past.
“Weapons of Vengeance” is written by Benjamin Percy and features art by Geoff Shaw. The first issue, Weapons of Vengeance Alpha #1, is set to be released on August 9, 2023. Marvel confirmed that the events of this crossover event will tie directly into the Fall of X event kicking off later on this year.
Percy teased the event with, “Wolverine is metal. Ghost Rider is metal. Together, their adamantium and chrome weigh in as HEAVY METAL! You know how Metallica and Iron Maiden have toured together, shredded out songs, wailed on music videos? This is a little like that. I write the sheet music that Geoff Shaw brings to pyrotechnic, guitar-smashing life. You're in for a head-banging good time, I promise.”
