Announced by Marvel back in December, Rob Liefeld is back with Deadpool: Badder Blood; a five-part sequel miniseries to his hit 2017 graphic novel, Deadpool: Bad Blood.
The first graphic novel, later published by Marvel as its own comic miniseries in 2022, followed Deadpool as he tried to track down the mysterious Thumper, a mercenary who was hired to kill him. Along the way, Deadpool was forced to confront his past and his own mortality. The graphic novel was a critical and commercial success, and it helped to solidify Deadpool's status as one of Marvel's most popular characters. IGN lauded the original series for its 90’s throwback feel in look and tone, while noting that newer fans of Deadpool may not have recognized the tamer version of everyone’s favorite mercenary.
