Fence: Redemption is a new four-issue limited series launching next week with Fence: Redemption #1 from the GLAAD Media Award-nominated sports comic from USA Today bestselling author C.S. Pacat (Dark Rise), acclaimed cartoonist Johanna the Mad (Wynd), colorist Joana LaFuente, and letterer Jim Campbell.

This new series picks up where the previous series left off, with Nicholas Cox and his friends and teammates at Kings Row fencing academy, training for the Junior Olympics. But the stakes are higher than ever, as Nicholas and his team must face off against some of the best fencers in the country.

In addition to the high-stakes fencing action, FENCE: REDEMPTION also explores the personal lives of Nicholas and his friends, as they deal with issues such as love, loss, and identity.

The original Fence series debuted on November 14, 2017. It was originally published as a limited series of six issues, but it has since been collected into three trade paperback volumes and two original graphic novels. The series followed Nicholas, the illegitimate son of Robert Coste, a retired Olympic champion fencer, who has a natural talent for the sport. However, he lacks the proper training and experience to compete at a high level.

After getting accepted to the prestigious Kings Row private school, Nicholas is given the opportunity to train with the school's fencing team. He quickly proves to be a talented fencer, but he also faces stiff competition from his teammates, including his golden-boy half-brother, Jesse, and the unbeatable, mysterious Seiji Katayama.

Throughout the series, Nicholas must learn to balance his passion for fencing with his other obligations, such as his schoolwork and his relationships with his friends and family. He also faces personal challenges, such as his struggle to come to terms with his father's abandonment and his own sexuality.
