First Look: Crystal Ball's Plan Comes to Light in ‘G.I. Joe’ #24
Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro shared a first look at G.I. Joe #24, the conclusion of the current story arc, from writer Joshua Williamson, artist Andrea Milana, colorist Lee Loughridge, and letterer Rus Wooton. The issue arrives July 15th with a main cover by Tom Reilly (Duke) and variants by by Joshua Cassara (X-Force) & Romulo Fajardo Jr. (Wonder Woman), Ben Oliver (Vengeance of Vampirella), Tonči Zonjić (Shadowman), and Andrea Milana.
The issue brings the arc to a head as Crystal Ball's secret plan finally surfaces. Risk puts everything on the line for an unexpected ally, but with Cobra agents and Joes alike in the mix, the question of who can actually be trusted hangs over the whole thing.
G.I. Joe is one of the tentpoles of the Energon Universe, the shared comics universe Hasbro and Skybound have built around Transformers and G.I. Joe. Other current titles in the line include Void Rivals, the two-time Eisner Award-winning Transformers, and the new M.A.S.K. series by Dan Watters.
