First Look: The Full Moon Closes In on ‘Blood of the Wolf Man’ #2

Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, revealed the cover lineup and preview pages for Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #2, from writer Joshua Williamson, artist Leomacs, colorist Pip Martin, and letterer DC Hopkins.

Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #2 (of 4) is on sale at comic shops and digital platforms on July 22, 2026, for $4.99. The issue carries a main cover by Leomacs and Pip Martin and an open-to-order cover by Jacob Phillips. The variants include the next installment in the connecting 1:10 incentive series by Maria Wolf and Mike Spicer, a 1:25 black-and-white "Classic Horror" version of Phillips' B cover, a 1:50 incentive by Luana Vecchio, and a 1:75 incentive by Anwita Citriya.

The second chapter of this adaptation picks up with the police tightening their net around Adam, who has to make his father believe that monsters are real before the next full moon comes up. The issue continues the connecting incentive cover storyline started in the debut.

Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man is the seventh series in Skybound's Universal Monsters line, following Dracula by James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds, Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives! by Ram V, Dan Watters, and Matthew Roberts, Frankenstein by Michael Walsh, The Mummy by Faith Erin Hicks, The Invisible Man by Tynion and DANI, and Phantom of the Opera by Tyler Boss and Martin Simmonds.
