Gail Simone Steps Into ‘The Ring’ With Dark Horse's New Eight-Issue Boxing Series
Dark Horse Comics and Ring Magazine announced The Ring: The Man Who Beat the Man, a new eight-issue series written by Gail Simone with art by Elisa Romboli, colors and lettering by Iolanda Zanfardino, and series covers by Oliver Barrett.
The series follows veteran Ring Magazine journalist Cameron Duggan and rising broadcast personality Lisa Wolfe as they travel the boxing world covering a new wave of contenders chasing championship glory, documenting the ambition, rivalries, and politics that define the sport at its highest level. The series is produced in coordination with Ring Magazine's editorial leadership.
The Ring: The Man Who Beat the Man #1 (of 8) is on sale June 3, 2026, at comic shops and bookstores for $4.99.
