Godzilla and Knull Team Up to Take on the Marvel Multiverse

Marvel announced Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse, a five-issue series from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Javier Garrón arriving July 22nd. The series is the concluding chapter of a trilogy that began with Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe and continued in the currently running Godzilla: Infinity Roar, and sees the King of the Monsters break beyond the boundaries of a single reality.

With Knull and Godzilla having teamed up to overrun the Marvel Universe, a desperate coalition of heroes including Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Kang, Emma Frost, Ghost Rider, the Punisher, Man-Thing, and more face the prospect of total annihilation. The only hope lies in a dimension-hopping mission out of Doomstadt to capture a kaiju capable of stopping Godzilla, a plan that puts the team on a collision course with mech warriors, multiversal kaiju, and a Red Skull clad in adamantium armor.

"The culmination of this Godzilla X Marvel collaboration has been a privilege from the jump," said Duggan. "To be able to help smash these worlds together with Javi and our collaborators has brought real joy, and we hope you're prepared for an ending you'll never see coming — with favorites from both universes making late star entrances and some of the craziest sequences I've had to honor of rolling off a printer. Hold fast, one last time."

Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse #1 (of 5) is on sale July 22nd. The main cover is by David Marquez, also available as a virgin variant, with a foil cover by Juan Frigeri, a variant by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and the first in a series of Heisei Godzilla vs. Marvel Variant Covers by Nic Klein.
