Marvel Reveals Bonus Stories for ‘Spider-Man/Superman’ #1
Marvel shared details on the eight backup stories packed into Spider-Man/Superman #1, the Marvel/DC crossover one-shot hitting comic shops April 22. The issue celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first-ever Marvel/DC crossover, Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, and follows DC's companion issue that released last month. The lead story by Brad Meltzer and Pepe Larraz pits Spider-Man and Superman against both Norman Osborn and Lex Luthor, but the backups bring in a staggering lineup of talent for even more matchups across the two universes:
Dan Slott and Marcos Martin bring Spider-Man Noir face to face with the Golden Age Superman in a 1930s-set tale.
Geoff Johns, in his first Marvel work in over 20 years, teams with Gary Frank as the Spider and Super families are drawn together by Mysterio.
Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman reunite for an epic featuring Jane Foster as Thor, Wonder Woman, and a symbiote invasion of Metropolis.
Louise Simonson and Todd Nauck pit Steel's John Henry Irons against the Hobgoblin.
Joe Kelly and Humberto Ramos cross Gwen Stacy and Lana Lang on a college campus.
Miles Morales' co-creators Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli team Miles up with Superman.
Stephanie Phillips and Phil Noto send Ghost-Spider and Supergirl on a high-stakes adventure together.
Jeph Loeb and Jim Cheung close things out with their own take on a Spider-Man/Superman team-up.
Marvel also dropped a first look at all eight bonus stories. Check out the previews below!
