Marvel's Stormbreakers Drop Isekai Variant Covers
Marvel revealed a set of eight Isekai variant covers from its current Stormbreakers class, dropping in August and pulling Marvel characters into the kind of alternate realms that define the manga and anime subgenre. Check out the first five covers revealed below, and here’s a list of all eight covers that will be available:

The word "isekai" means "a different world," and it describes stories where a protagonist gets pulled out of their own life and into another realm. Across these covers, the artists reimagine Marvel heroes and villains in unfamiliar settings with new designs and abilities. The collection lands just before Marvel's five Mangaverse 25th anniversary one-shots, which return to that world with manga-styled takes on classic characters.
The eight artists in the current Stormbreakers group are: Alessandro Cappuccio, Netho Diaz, Simone Di Meo, Juan Frigeri, Gurihiru, Jonas Scharf, Geoff Shaw, and Luciano Vecchio.
