SDCC Day 1 Recap: DC All In: What's Next Panel

DC K.O. BRACKET UNVEILED

Scott Snyder clarified that the ‘K.O.’ stands for “King Omega” (not knockout). He added that Darkseid has become the Absolute Universe’s King Omega and that the 'DC K.O. event seeks to crown the King Omega of the main DCU. The panel also unveiled the bracket that will pit superhero vs superhero, along with the first batch of participants: Captain Atom, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Lobo, Swamp Thing, Cyborg, Red Hood, and Zatanna.

ABSOLUTE UNIVERSE GETS FIRST CROSSOVER

DC fans will want to mark their calendars for December 24th. Not because it’s Christmas Eve, but Absolute Batman will show up in ‘Absolute Wonder Woman’ #15. This marks the first crossover (that we know of so far) in DC’s Absolute Universe and we got a look at beautiful artwork by Hayden Sherman featuring the two characters. Scott Snyder added that the ‘Absolute Wonder Woman’ storyline will start to tie the broader Absolute Universe together.

‘ABSOLUTE GREEN ARROW’ MINI ANNOUNCED

Pornsak Pichetshote and Rafael Albuquerque will pair together for a six-issue miniseries featuring a version of Oliver Queen standing up to other billionaires in the Absolute Universe. The new series will debut in Spring 2026.

JOSHUA WILLIAMSON & DAN MORA PAIR FOR NEW BATMAN MINI

Joshua Williamson joined the stage for the All In portion of the panel and announced that he’ll be teaming with Dan Mora for ‘Knightfight’ kicking off in November. The new series will see Batman traveling to alternate future timelines where all his former Robins grew up to be different versions of Batman.

THE FLASH GETS NEW CREATIVE TEAM

Marc Waid and Chris Cantwell will join forces to co-write the upcoming ‘Impulse Control’ arc which sees Wally West and Bart Allen dealing with a timeline threat. The new arc will launch when current The Flash scribe Si Spurrier departs after issue #25.
