‘The Last Days of Moon Knight’ Begin in MOON KIGHT #28
The acclaimed Moon Knight series by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio is coming to an end with the upcoming story arc "The Last Days of Moon Knight" per an announcement by Marvel. This epic three-issue storyline will see Moon Knight in a race against time to stop the Black Spectre from carrying out his catastrophically deadly plans.
Over the past few years, MacKay and Cappuccio have revitalized the Moon Knight mythology, giving the iconic character added depth and introducing readers to new allies and supporting players. Now, this historic run is coming to an end.
MacKay shared, "Almost all the pieces are now on the board—on one side, Moon Knight and his allies in the Midnight Mission, and on the other, the Black Spectre, his creatures, and his plan for New York. We've been building towards this confrontation since #19, and starting with MOON KNIGHT #28, Moon Knight and the Black Spectre go to war. It's not just a question of victory, but survival itself. The Midnight Mission is already cloaked in the black of mourning..."
"The Last Days of Moon Knight" is sure to be a must-read for fans of the character and MacKay’s run. This is a story that will challenge Moon Knight to his very core, and it will be interesting to see how, or even if, he comes out on the other side.
