Image Comics Announces ‘Dust to Dust’, a Crime Noir Graphic Novel Set During the Dust Bowl

Image Comics announced Dust to Dust, a standalone graphic novel from co-writers JG Jones and Phil Bram, with Jones also handling art duties. Set in Depression-era Oklahoma during the height of the Dust Bowl, the story follows Sheriff Meadows, a man haunted by his past, and Sarah, a tenacious photojournalist, as they team up to track a serial killer cutting through the devastated town of New Hope. Dust to Dust arrives in comic shops May 27 and in bookstores June 23.

"If all you know about J.G. Jones is his cover work for Y: The Last Man or his star turn on Wanted, prepare to be amazed, impressed, bowled over — you name it," said Eric Stephenson, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer at Image Comics. "This is top flight storytelling from a comics master, and you need to have this on your bookshelf, your nightstand, your coffee table — wherever the great comics go in your household."
