Wolverine Calls in the Cavalry in ‘Avengers: Armageddon’ #3
Marvel revealed details on Avengers: Armageddon #3 from Chip Zdarsky, Delio Diaz, and Frank Alpizar and Captain America #14 from Zdarsky and Ton Lima.
With the world turning against the Avengers and Red Hulk growing harder to stop by the day, Avengers: Armageddon #3 pushes the team to a breaking point. A dangerous and unstable new power enters the picture, and with everything falling apart around them, Wolverine does the only thing he can: assembles a new Avengers team. The issue sets the stage for what the Avengers will look like on the other side of the Armageddon event.
Meanwhile, Captain America #14 continues the companion arc running through Zdarsky's Captain America series. Steve Rogers is stranded far from Earth and desperate to get back before the conflict reaches a point of no return. His unlikely solution is teaming up with Doctor Doom to track down the Antidivine, a weapon said to be capable of destroying Mephisto, their captor. The catch is that Doom's first love also has her sights on the sword, putting Victor's soul on the line just as Steve is running out of time.
Captain America #14 is on sale August 5th with a main cover by by Dike Ruan. Avengers: Armageddon #3 (of 5) is on sale August 19th with a main cover by Valerio Schiti and a variant by Domenico Cava.
